Grasslands are home to many different plant life:


The Creosote
  • The creosote bush is identified by it's waxy green leaves and yellow flower blossoms. They are found in very dry areas. The bush gives off a strange odor most people don't appreciate but others relish because of the meaning behind it - rain.

Buffalo Grass


  • Buffalo grass is mostly in dry ares and require lots of sun. It can tolerate a long time without water. It's named Buffalo Grass because way back when the buffalo's roamed free they would usually stick to this type of grass.
